We're more than wedding planners
Most couples come to us having already spent weeks trying to stitch together a vision, a florist here, a stylist there, a planner somewhere else. The result is a day that looks assembled rather than designed.
Elicere was built to solve that. We are a complete celebration studio: planning, styling, and florals under one creative direction. Everything you see on your day from the arch behind you to the flower on your table is conceived, designed, and delivered by the same team.
We work with couples across all backgrounds, traditions, and styles. Intimate garden ceremonies. Grand ballroom receptions. Multicultural celebrations woven with ritual and meaning. Elicere Events was founded by Shamika and Cheth — two friends with complementary obsessions who realised that the best wedding experiences come when planning and creativity are completely in sync.
Shamika
Co-founder · Planning & Design
Shamika is the calm at the centre of every Elicere event. She manages the timelines, the vendor relationships, the logistics, and the thousand invisible decisions that make a wedding run without a hitch. If something needs to happen at exactly the right moment, Shamika has already made sure it will.
Cheth
Co-founder · Styling & florals
Cheth is the creative force behind every Elicere celebration. From the first mood board to the final floral arrangement on your table, she translates your vision into a space that feels intentional, beautiful, and completely you.

Where we go deeper is multicultural weddings. Shamika and Cheth have a genuine passion for celebrations rooted in cultural tradition, particularly Sri Lankan, Indian, and mixed-heritage weddings, where every element of the ceremony carries meaning. We understand the rituals, the timing, the significance of colour and fabric and floral choice. We don’t treat cultural detail as decoration. We treat it as the point.
